Yum yum yum is all I can say about this recipe. This meal is not only delicious but it’s super healthy. I use ground turkey to keep the recipe lean and no salt to keep it low-sodium. I always try to add a small side dish to compliment my meals, these are my favourite to make because they’re super easy! Enjoy! Turkey Meatballs In A Homemade Honey BBQ Sauce
1 1/2 cup ground turkey
1/3 cup of Just Right cereal
1/2 tbsp black pepper
3 tbsp soya sauce
1/4 tbsp turmeric
Homemade BBQ Sauce
1/3 cup of soya sauce
1/3 cup of spicy ketchup (I use a brand called Brown Betty, it’s low in sodium and low in cal)
1/4 cup organic honey or regular honey
1 tbsp pepper flakes
3 tbsp paprika
Preheat your over to 420 degrees F and start by food processing the onion and Just Right Cereal. In a small bowl, add your ground turkey, diced onions and Just Right Cereal, 1/2 tbsp black pepper, turmeric, soya sauce and mix well. In an oven pan, start shaping your mix into small meatballs and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix your soya sauce, spicy ketchup, honey, pepper flakes and paprika. Then pout the mixture on top of each meatball. Place into the over for 20-25 mins.
Garnish with fresh dill!
