It’s Friday and it’s almost Father’s day!!! Who else goes blank when buying a present for their dads? I do! My dad is a very simple guy. He has everything he needs and always has a certain preference. This year, I was in luck. I went out to the mall with him to return something and we randomly wobbled into Roots. He then started to show me a belt that he’s been wanting but wasn’t sure he wanted to spend his money on yet another belt (he owns like several from BOSS, Rudsak..etc). So, sneaky me quickly made a note in my phone and later that week went and got it! Also, if you’re a student or still have a student card with not end year date, use it at ROOTS! You get 20% off!
My dad is also a fan of summer cocktails. He likes a good citrus or berry drink to cool off on after he’s done cleaning up the yard and checking up on his growing pumpkins. So, I created a quick and fun cocktail that you can share with your dad. It’s a fun way to celebrate this weekend! Enjoy and let me know what you got your dad for fathers day!

- Finish off with a stick of fresh mint.
- For added decoration, add in assortment of berries!
