Who’s excited for the weekend? I know I am. I’ll be at a music festival this Saturday and will be definitely catching all the sunshine. But that’s okay, I know that if I do get sun burn, I can use my favourite sun burn remedy: oatmeal! This recipe will help cool and sooth, moisturize and heal that nasty sun burn! Plus, it’s natural!
Oatmeal has been known as a sun burn remedy for years. It’s a quick, easy and cheap way to heal and cool your skin. So have fun this weekend, and if you forget to put on sunscreen and get sun burned, you know where to come!

Oatmeal Sun Burn Remedy
3 tbsp oatmeal
2 drops of sage oil
2 tbsp sour cream (cold, from fridge)
1 tsp kefir (cold, from fridge)
- In a bowl, mix together oatmeal, sage oil, sour cream and kefir.
- Once ingredients are well mixed, apply to sun burn area and leave on for 15-20 mins.
- Wash face!
