Today, I got a delicious Korean BBQ Chicken recipe. For this recipe, I use a panini press as my grill! It’s fantastic and so quick when you can’t access your outside grill during the winter season. Also, this recipe is healthy and super quick to make!
Hope you guys love it as much as my family did! Enjoy!
Korean BBQ Chicken On A Panini Press
2 chicken breasts
1 tsp chopped lemongrass
1 minced garlic
1 tsp apple vinegar
1/2 tsp rice vinegar
3 tbsp soya sauce
2 tbsp 1/2 tsp brown sugar (or honey)
3-5 cranks of salt
3-5 cranks of black pepper
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
In a medium bowl, add 1 tsp chopped lemongrass, 1 minced garlic, 1 tsp apple vinegar, 1/2 tsp rice vinegar, 3 tbsp soya sauce, 2 tbsp + 1/2 tsp of brown sugar (or honey), salt, pepper and chilli flakes. Mix all ingredients together.
Start by slicing 2 chicken breasts into thin slices (a bread knife works perfect for this).
Add sliced chicken into the sauce and mix. If you have time, you can let the chicken marinate for 1 -2 hour(s). If not, just start grilling!
I heated up my panini press, added the think slices and closed the press. I cooked the slices for 3-5 mins until theres grilled marks and the chicken is no longer pink.
Enjoy with a side of fresh salad or white rice!
