Hope you guys are having a good week so far. I’ve been trying to perfect the perfect roasted potato with the best flavour. I wanted it to be simple, fluffy, crunchy and buttery. After many tries and fails, I finally found the perfect combinations.
I love potatoes, wether it be fries or mashed potatoes, they are your best friend side dish. They compliment all your favourite meals! My favourite has to be fish and chips. It’s such a classic and pairs perfect with nice pint.
Enjoy and let me know how your roasted potatoes turned out.
How To Roast The Perfect Potatoes
5-7 potatoes (peeled and washed)
Salt to taste
Drizzle of olive oil
3-4 gloves of garlic
Start boiling some salted water in a large pot at high heat.
Peel and wash potatoes and cutting potato in half first and then cutting the 2 halves in half.
Place cut potatoes into boiling water and reduce heat to medium and cook for 10 mins.
While potatoes are cooking, preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
In a large metal rectangle pan, grate some butter, lightly covering the surface.
Add some chopped garlic and sprinkle with rosemary.
Once potatoes are done boiling, take a metal strainer and remove them from the water, while giving them a good shake in the strainer, to fluff each potatoes up.
Place fluffed up potatoes into the metal pan, sprinkle with salt and drizzle with olive oil.
Place into the oven and bake for 40 mins, giving the potatoes a mix half way through.
