Since last week, I’ve been siting on a pretty strict diet with a health and wellness doctor. He specializes in finding what’s wrong with your body, what foods work better with your body and which ones don’t. It’s all very interesting. The reason I’m siting on this “strict” diet is because it starts off with trying to strip down all the sugar insulin in your body, so your body doesn’t crave it. Then, as the weeks go by and after various blood tests, foods will be added into the diet. So of course at the end, you can have anything but, your body will be able to control it better through portions and cravings.
Since I can only have 1 coffee or 1 caffeinated tea a day. I started drinking more herbal teas. They’re so delicious and calming, I have no idea why I haven’t drank them before. It also finally got hot here in Ontario and everyones in their shorts, ice teas and glasses. Yes, Ice teas….I’ve been craving it like crazy. So, I decided to create one myself using herbal teas.
It’s calming, refreshing, heathy and a great alternative to water. Enjoy and let me know what your favourite herbal tea is!
