Today for #ChristmasCollabWithFafa, i’ll be sharing a Chocolate truffle recipe that my whole family loves. My family and I always buy a box of truffles for the holidays and enjoy them with a cup of warm tea. So, I decided to create my own and coat them with different fun ingredients! If you try this recipe or want to share it, don’t forget to use the hashtag #ChristmasCollabWithFafa!
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cup of half and half cream
Various toppings: peanuts, cocoa, coconut flakes
In a small saucer, add in 1 tbsp of butter and 1/4 cup of half and half cream. Once boiling, add in 1 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips. Stir until chocolate is melted and the texture is gooey.
Place the saucer into the fridge to cool for about 1 hour or until slightly settled.
Once cooled, cover a baking pan with parchment paper and scoop 1 tbsp of chocolate onto the pan. You should have about 7-10 scoops. Place into the fridge again for another 30 mins.
Prepare your toppings in small bowls. Remove chocolate from fridge and start rolling each scoop into mini balls, coat with your desired topping and place on a plate. Refrigerate finished truffles for 1 hour and enjoy!
