I’ve got another sweet recipe for you! This biscuit recipe is so good and so simple to make. My favourite part is that it has zero butter ingredients! We make these as a family for special occasions to enjoy with tea.
My family is obsessed with drinking tea so we are always coming up with fun and easy dessert recipes. You can literally throw whatever you want in this recipe, wether it be chocolate chips, coconut flakes or apples! Enjoy and don’t forget to keep following #ChristmasCollabWithFafa!
All Dressed Biscuits
1 cup sugar
1 cup walnuts (crushed)
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 dried cranberries
1 cup flour
1 tbsp baking soda
1 tbsp rum (optional)
Preheat over at 400 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, hold raisins and cranberries in water for about 5 mins. The dry in a paper towel and coat with some flour. Set aside.
In a mixer, mix 3 eggs and 1 cup of sugar. Gradually add 1 tbsp of rum, 1 tbsp of baking soda and flour. Lastly, add in your raisins, cranberries and crushed walnuts. Mix until all ingredients are incorporated.
Line cake pan with parchment paper or butter to make sure cake comes out easily.
Bake cake for 20-30 mins until golden.
